Brattle and Garden Streets Projects

There are currently two separated bike lane projects, required under the 2020 Cycling Safety Ordinance, now in active community discussion. We urge residents, churches, businesses, persons with mobility issues to get involved. A separated bicycle lane is separated from motor vehicle traffic by a permanent vertical barrier (white flex posts are typically used) that remains in place year-round and can include granite or concrete barriers and raised curbs.
